Intentional brevity and conscious use of your time and resources guide this post.
We are bombarded with news, images, media content and sensory input for the majority of our waking hours. Even if we aren’t actively engaged with it, simply holding our phones or devices in our hands suggests to ourselves and others around us where our priorities lie.
Give yourself permission to choose what you attend to, choose where you place your energy, and why and to whom you give your time. It takes some intention to do this in a way that is truly guided by your needs and honors the balance you need right now, today, in this moment.
With that in mind, consider this your invitation to take one small action today to curb the overload. Maybe that means closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. Maybe that means planning a walk outside without your usual device accompanying you. Perhaps it means putting a limit on news or social media use today. Plant your intention and let it grow into action that protects you and bolsters you.
And thanks for choosing to spend a little time with your YVJ community and to use your time and energy to read this post in the service of your well-being.
Joy in the Journey,
J & J
